To anyone in NYC, who can put me in touch with the unfortunate I met at the metalbar after our last show there in Aug.2010.
No doubt been heaping mud on name since, so must be recognisable to someone out there. Its been a thorn in my side since, and eager to hack it out.
It may be said there is more than one such person out there, but Im not referring to the easily offended fools who long to be indignant about anything from anyone (preferably someone in a band). No, this ones female, was 'trying' to enjoy a drink with the band and others downstairs at this metal bar.

I write this as the first snow fall blankets the earth. It seems appropriate to update about now. The World Defiance Tour is over, and the band return to their lairs to refuel, regain and compose the next album SIEGE.
D666 will return to US shores for a short tour and Maryland Death Fest in May/June 2011. Nothing set in stone. All details prone to change.

Well, it's taken me some time to recover and get around to updating the website.
You all can read general things about the tour on our myspace site. Here I'd like to thank the many folks 'n bands that made the tour all the more satisfying.
First n foremost the fans, the reception was so far beyond my expectations, it's both humbling and inspiring to be met with such rabid wolves. Almost restores my faith in mankind's ability to lose the stranglehold of thought .
For those who witnessed my disgust at show filmers, it should come as little surprise, as I said on the nights in question, the live metal experience is about the ‘moment’, living here 'n now. It's as close as many will come to the lycanthropic experience. As a matter of course I feel obliged to voice my opposition to such things. If you're filming, you are clearly not in the same head space as we are, and personally I don't want or need you there. I speak of my own opinions here, I know that some of the other fellas have no problem with it at all. I do. If ya don't like it, then please fuck off.
Secondly, a great hail to the bands who helped us along the way. Some of the Pathology guys, Cardiac Arrest who are as honest and real as their music. Check 'em out: http://www.myspace.com/deathrot
There's a whole bunch of bands who lent us gear, and generally were hospitable, but over 24 shows, I'm bound to forget some, so let me just say our thanks to all concerned.
Thirdly, our tour manager Nik, Jusef our bus driver and Tania our merch girl (who did all her work voluntarily - at her own cost... tho' we sorted that shit out didn't we woman? ha), all proved themselves to be the kind of folks Destroyer like to work with. Invaluable.
Our greatest hails and respect to Enthroned. Being stuck on a bus for so long with others can get testy at the best of times, Im sure they'll vouch for that in my regard, I'm an unsettled grumpy motherfucker, and that's on a good day. So to be stuck with some real metalheads who pull their weight.. Whisky 'n Coke boys, the fuel of Gods, Wolves and Men...
And lastly some club owners, The Brass Mug - Tampa, Catacomb – Montreal and Europa Club – NYC.. If anyone knows these kind people, please pass on my personal thanks, regards and apologies.
Some just have a lot of patience for drunken fools. And I salute them.

Due to clusterfucking beyond our realm of control, the first two shows of the current U.S. Tour have had to be cancelled.
The NYC show has been moved to the 31/8/2010.There are no plans as far I know to reschedule the Jaxx show in Washigton.
To apologise would seem to me to admit fault and responsibility on our part, to apologise on behalf of others just seems retarded.
We hope to see yas at the amended date.

Australian Defiance Tour
Well it all ended some days ago, and it was worth the all the heat and early morning flights.
Some killer crowds, some killer times
To finish up in Sydney and Melbourne was indeed a fitting end to the first half of the
World Defiance Tour..
We have discussed making our next trip down under a lot less than 6 years between. It is too long we know, but is dependent on many factors, many beyond our control.
For those who still want shirts, we have Australian and AntiChrist shirts (back side with Tour dates) and Girlys (back side with tour dates) availble at Smoke Dreams on Flinders Street Melbourne and through Temple ov IX.

Unfortuantly the show scheduled for Dec 11 in Belgium has been cancelled by the promoter.
We dont know excatly why. We were given some bullshit, none of which Id bother repeating here.
Belgium has always been good to D666 and we shall endeavour to return next year.

The LP version of Defiance will be released imminently via Season of Mist Records.
We have tried to make the LP as different as possible to the CD. Both for ourselves and for the fans forking out the dollars.
This version has been completely remixed and remastered, and features new inside sleeve artwork courtesy of the infamous Rev. Kriss Hades. This image of the Gnostic deity Abraxas to commerate the song "The Sermon to the Dead" , also comes as an A2 colour poster.
I was going to write up a tour report for our recent sojourn in the Americas. But alas, I enjoy hearing about the retarded ramblings of internet drones who object to any perceived luxury on our part.

Well, its over, and perhaps none too soon, late nights and early morning flights take their inevitable toll.
All in all the tour was fucking brilliant.
NYC, Chicago and San Fransisco were all beyond all expectations.
Our sincere hails to all the wild wolves and foxes who made it out.
Calgary, Canada was the perfect finish to an unforgetable tour. Special note of thanks to the gang who had made the flag for us up front there. I was hoping to catch up with yas, but left it too late unfortunatly.
Special thanks must also go out to Stan and Victor for organising the US leg of the World Defiance Tour.

well well fucking well...its been quite the ride.
Theres far too many people to thank individually, but or gratitude goes out to all the promoters who have looked after us so well thus far..
The crowds have been fucking amazing,and never cease to amaze us every time we come back to the states.At the risk of sounding sentimental, I speak for the whole band when i say its truly been a honour and a pleasure.
NYC ranks as one of the biggest surprises for us. Monday night, midnight start time, and no one at all seemed to have left.
But nothing could prepare for us the treatment we recieved by an fella called John who booked our show in Providence. We said it many times John, but again, in the cold light of sobriety, thanks mate. Truly beyond the call of duty.
A hail to Vital Remains too, for supplying the best backline of the whole tour.
To all the fans who have come and supported the band, we salute you all. The response has been beyone words, and stands as testimony to the undergrounds strentgh. If we've come across as tired and irritable and less than sociable, its because we were tired and irritable.
