03 JUNE 2008 TRANSMISSION III

The band has officially booked into the  studio for Sept. this year to record the next album, tentavily titled " SIEGE ", to be released by Season of Mist .
If all goes well, the album will see a European release in Jan 2009.Worldwide a little later.
The band is  currently negotiating an Australian tour for Feb/March 2009 and a US tour sometime afterwards, and yes the band hopes to finally reach Sth. America  next year also.

Concerning the "Cold Steel..." LP re-release.Its been delayed indefintly ,until we can find suitable artwork.We have asked 2 artists so far,but both have not come up with the goods as assured.So,we`re back at the beginning .If anyone thinks they have a possible design appropiate too the title track,then please send it along.
D666 will perform no more shows until the new album is recorded.Which we hope to do April/may 2008.Thanks for the Support!

Wolves Return...Back almost in the same condition as before we left.Some noses put outta place,and some passports rejected for incredibly petty reasons.Our gratitude to all those who made it out,and reaped the whirlwind.The dogs of war that make up Great Britain once again proved why London is one of the finest maniac crowds in the World.Adorior,Inquistion, and Necro Ritual made it along with crowd. a show not to be forgotten.
SWR Fest in Portugal,hell what can I say,good organisation,not so good food,and great company in the form of our comrades in satans curse upon the world - Watain,and the Inquistion lads.Off course our thanks to the Stratanael folks,for obeservance,perserverance and religious like participation.

Destroyer announces their third of four shows that they will play this year.Their first ever show in Norway.Check "Live".The band has expressed a great intrest in expereincing Norwegian culture first hand and is keen  to try out harpooning whales,clubbing seals and sticking corks in Dolphins breather holes.Failing that , they said they`ll content themselves to simply burning  the odd building of christ or two.
The band have also completed 5 songs for thier new album entitled "The Last Stand".They hope to record early next year.

On other worldly matters,I picked up a bit of refreshingly good news form our land of origin Australia today(an excerpt copied below).Lets hear it for prison justice.

Two brothers involved in a string of notorious gang rapes have been bashed in Goulburn Jail, with one left in a critical condition.

The pair were set upon by eight inmates in the maximum security area of the prison at around 12.30pm yesterday and were repeatedly bashed and kicked.

Back from the Wolves Over America US Tour,Destroyer 666 have nothing to say but good things about their experience.
Our gratitude to all the folks who went to so much trouble to make this 20,000 klm. round trip tournadoe run  pretty much without a hitch.We met so many heads ,of which I`m sure some will become friends,its impractical to name them all here,but we  would like to extend our thanks and hails to Stan and Victor @ Riprecords for making this all happen.To all the fans who travelled so far,and thrashed so hard,we salute you.As always it was a humbling experience to witness so much support for our band.To all those who went above and beyond  the call of duty making sure we got fed,boozed,cashed and/or to the airport on time,we can only say " cheers ".Whisky & Metal 2006

Returned now somewhat intact from the Whisky and Wrath Tour. No tour report, you were either there or you were`nt. No vicarious thrills here Im afraid. But in short,fucking KILLER! Only a one or two quiet shows throughout the whole 18 shows.
Revenge were great to tour with. Fine folk. Folk whose actions reflect clearly there lyrics,image and stance. An honour and pleasure for all in D666.
Our thanks to all the maniac wild wolves and foxes who made it out to the shows to support the tour. We are truly indebted to you. We know its been long time since our last release,so to recieve so much continued support is a humbling experience.
And finally on that front, our thanks to Steve and Shaky Axel for a massive effort in the face of sometimes dispiriting obstacles.
For those who asked, yes,we are working on a new album which we hope to record after the US/Mexico/Sth America Assault both of which are planned for late in the year. Dates will be posted when confirmed.

D666 is now playing the show in Arnhem as part of the "Genocide and Wrath" Tour with Revenge.

9/05-TRANSMISSION 1: Our honour and respect to all those who have supported the band over the last few years. Finally a new site to clarify the rumours, statiate the curious and enthrall the devout. First off, Id like to thank and send Hails to our new webmaster L.Kaos.

Since 2004 D666 has a new bass player. Almost human Matt, (part) man behind London based Razor of Occam

We can announce that D666 will probably tour next April. We are hoping to organize a European tour along with REVENGE.

Im also working on getting D666 to Sth America. So I urge all the Sth American maniacs to send your death threats to Mutliation Records.

D666 has given permission to Hells HeadBangers label to release, later this year, the Pic. Disc version of "Cold Steel...for an Iron Age" It will come with a new revised cover, and will also come with a jacket/sleeve featuring different artwork again. This is off course important for the band. As the unsolicited artwork from the previously released CD/LP S.O.M version still ranks as one of the worst attempts at record cover design ever attempted.

This new version will feature an extra track form the "Cold Steel..." session entitled "The Dragon" and will also feature alternate versions of "The Calling" and "The Fall of Shadows".

We are currently working on a LP, featuring all D666 7" tracks. As well as 2 unreleased tracks which were originally recorded Oct.2003 as 7" to commerate that years aussie tour. Alas, I remained unsatisfied with the vocals, and the songs sat around forgotten till recently. We hope this will be of benefit for those still tormenting (me) for copies of the 7"s.
May be released Jan 2006.
